Link Job Postings to the Person Filling the Role
There are things that could be done to improve the way jobs are found.

When a company posts a job, they should pay a refundable deposit of $5,000. Once the job is filled by a real human being, the new employee would be linked back to the job posting, resulting in the $5,000 credit being returned to the company.
This approach would make it costly for companies to:
- Post fake job descriptions to collect consumer data.
- Post real job descriptions without the intention to hire, signaling growth to the marketplace without actual hiring.
- Post 50 identical job postings across the top 50 markets while only intending to hire one person. For remote jobs, just create one posting.
- Repost the same job every two weeks for six months without hiring.
- Post jobs when what they really want to do is sell you a franchise or sell you a package so you can be an independent consultant.
Implementing this system would clarify that LinkedIn is a serious job-seeking platform where genuine job seekers can find real opportunities. I think it would greatly benefit job seekers and companies really wanting to hire top talent.
